Jimmy Stringer

Jimmy is passionate about the beautiful design of homes, and it shows in everything he touches. The founder of The Rooted Studio, he brings a diverse set of skills honed over 20 years of study combined with top-tier experience in residential architecture, construction and management. Possessing a business degree from the University of Notre Dame and two master's degrees in architecture and engineering from the University of Miami, he loves putting all facets of his proficiencies to work on a daily basis. Having participated directly with every scale of residential design imaginable— from bathroom renovations to multi-million-dollar compounds— he is ready to tackle any project. Jimmy is recognized by his clients for genuinely caring about them, their projects, and the communities in which they live. A dedicated member of his own community, he is currently an Area Director in the Flower Valley neighborhood of Rockville and participates in planning a variety of events locally. Jimmy, and his wife Katie, are proud parents of five children and they are the foundation of their life. Jimmy claims he is really just the caretaker of this company for them until the new board members are ready.
